The 2009 National Duathlon Festival was held April 25-26, 2009 in Richmond, Virginia. This race serves as the national age-group championship for short-course (10k / 38k / 5k) and qualifier for Worlds.

Several RATs made the trip down south and survived the 90-degree temperatures.
