Registration is now open for the 5th annual Oak Tree; Sept. 6th - 2009. The event is set in the beautiful Genesee Valley and features views of the National Historic Landmark District of Geneseo and rural scenic views of the Oak Savannahs (some over 300 years old). Both courses are USATF certified. The half marathon course is run on 40% dirt roads with 6 water stations and live music along the course. The 5K event has one water station and for the first time is open to runners and walkers. Both races feature unique local prizes in a wide variety of categories (not all based on time!). Free kids fun runs with awards to all participants. Post race food and massages. All races finish at the Geneseo Central School track.
